    Default Hello, interested newbie here!

I'm Tamske, naming myself after the good board game Tamsk.

I learnt of the MBTI system some months ago, and I like it very much. I don't understand everything and this is precisely why I signed up.
I'm also an amateur writer and I used a test with my characters. So:
Myself: NTP. Not sure if I'm E or I. Tests give both answers. I've made a little test myself, which also indicated the "strength"... and that one gave a very weak E. I'm happy with that :-)
Most of my main characters are ESTJ's. Actually, most of my characters are, which makes my stories rather boring. I finally succeeded in creating a Feeling secondary character! Yay!

    Greetings,

    Tamske

Thanks for the welcomes. Tamsk is a two-person, strategic board game. More info on Games Project: Gipf, Tamsk, Zertz, Dvonn and Yinsh. I've actually met the author of these games.
I've been searching around a bit, but I did'nt find the info I searched. So, can someone direct me to the right place?
I think I understand fairly well the dichotomies (E vs I etc); but those functions are quite a puzzle for me. I can map the type on the functions and vice versa; but I don't understand the meaning of the functions.
Eg. to my ENTP corresponds primary Ne; secondary Ti, tertiary Fe and inferior Si. I think the weak E means primary and secondary form almost a tie. So far, so good.
What is extraverted intuition? Same question for the other functions.

Edit: why are the 16 types divided along the subgroups SJ, SP, NT and NF? Why not something like ST-SF-NT-NF?

    Thanks a lot!

ESTJs... Wel, I'm married to one!

On the other hand, my stories always take place in these really complex, magical worlds... I want my main character to experience my world, not invent a new one :-).
