Default Life had always been hard for me...

Each decade brought in very real meaning for me, however each decade was just plain HARD for me. Without going into boring details, I can tell you that I had always felt like I was somewhat a "freak" like Natrushka stated and/or "defective" like INTJMom stated.

Now I understand why I think like I do, and for me, there is nothing more freeing than knowing that there are others that can related to me.

Anyway, I also feel tremendous because I actually am way more healthier (physically and emotionally) than I was in my 20s and 30s. I was under tremendous stress (rotten marriage and then divorce), and as a single mother, I was the primary parent to 2 rambunctious however sweet, little ones and the guardian of my mother who is mentally ill. Today, I have way less stress in my life primarily because both of my boys are adults and doing well, and I have found the love (a very healthy relationship) of my life! He's an INTP, and he's so much like me... it's scary!

Mainly, I am at peace because I have accepted who I am. MBTI has also helped me to relate better to my children and to my sweetheart . I also have found a very grounding church body where I am very much at peace with.

    Life is good...
Thanks to all who have responded!

Hey Sandy. BTW, I'm assuming you're a David Bowie fan. I am too.

I have been a HUGE fan since the age of 11 or so. His dark music, nonsensical lyrics, and fascinating persona just resonated with me for some reason. My friends and family thought I was SO weird. *shrugging shoulders* I couldn't help it... the whole package was like a drug.

The addiction, thankfully, has waned some over the years.
