Default INFP with mad respect for NTs

Hey everyone. INFP male from the Unites States here. I've been into MBTI for about 3 years now, and use it (especially Kiersey) to figure out people and their motives all the time. However, I know next to nothing about enneagram stuff or any other typology schools (is that the term?)

Some personal details... I am a Christian, but hopefully not an idiot. My best friend is an ENTJ (to the max). Both my mom and sister are INFJs, and they basically raised me. I have great respect for the NT mindset, and have been friends with a few in my day. I'd like to think I'm a somewhat mature version of an INFP (or at least not immature), but that's really for you to decide.

I think the term might be personality matrices (???), I like the immature INFPs, but you'll be right. Welcome to TypeC, over all of those years, have you found MBTI to be usefull at all?

    'Sup.

Does your being Christian give you reason to suspect that you're an idiot?

To King-of-Despair: MBTI has been most definitely useful. Now I get why people do things where I didn't before. Plus, it's helped me open my mind up to non-NF mentality. Which is awesome.

To Owl: hahah, only in the stigma it brings. A stigma caused probably by it being the dominant religion in the west, thus AMPLE opportunities for idiots to make all other Christians look bad, no matter how intelligent or sincere or productive they may be.

Welcome, but that respect is misplaced.

Totally! We have no clue what respect means, let alone where it's placed.

You'll lose that respect soon, don't worry
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)
