Hello, INTJMom. Welcome to MBTI Central. Discussions usually involve MBTI and general psychology. We have a new FAQ in the "MBTI, Enneagram, and other personality matrices" section you might want to look at to understand more about your type. Your functional order is:

    Ni Te Fi Se

Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

    Hi thanks.
I've been studying MBTI for over 15 years.
It has helped me a lot with understanding myself,
    and understanding my kids.
I don't know what I would have done without it all these years.

    Hello, and welcome.

I've found MBTI useful for the same reasons. It'll be interesting to pick your brain. If you have some particular topics of interest, please feel free to just start up whatever threads you like in the MBTIc section (or elsewhere).

Well, in that case, welcome. We could always use more insight and explination from an experienced user. Many of us have only begun studying it, and I have only done so for a little over four years.

    Thank you, Jennifer.
I only became a forum user last year.
I had never been interested before.

It is a good way to have some intelligent conversation
    (and not-so-intelligent, too unfortunately.)

The forum I have been using has the same software as this one,
so the familiarity of the format is helping me feel comfortable.

    See you around!

Well, I am self taught, so there are others who know more than I do.
I also have a disdain for over-complicated things,
so I tend to keep things simple,
but I feel comfortable enough in my ability to be helpful.

    See you around!

    Welcome INTJMom!

Dare I ask this question? Yes I dare. As an INTJ mom, how elaborate and/or unusual are the punishments that you devise for your children when they misbehave. Can you give an example of one of the more unusual ways you've developed to discipline your children? (You don't have to answer this question if you don't want to. But my imagination is already devising unusual things that would happen in the daily life of an INTJ mom. )
My wife and I made a game to teach kids about nutrition. Please try our game and vote for us to win. (Voting period: July 14 - August 14)
