Default So an INFJ walks into a bar and...

    Hi everyone,
I have been designated as type INFJ for many years but only recently started looking into the theory behind it, and how it relates to me...very enlightening. Always open to fine-tuning my type, especially if others see something I don't.

I am a civil rights advocate for people in institutionalized settings (prisons, state mental institutions, group homes) so I am looking for some levity and maybe shed some light on my own behaviors. I am fascinated by all aspects of human nature, especially the forces that draw us in to another person's sphere.

nice civil rights advocacy, i've always thought that the biggest error of modern psychotherapy is a tyrrany of beliefs and norms. schizophrenia patients have this the worst, i think

nozflubber: I couldn't agree with you more when you mention the "tyrrany of beliefs and norms"...I cannot believe what passes for modern medicine and the incredibly dangerous "behavioral programs" that are implemented. It is frightening because many people cannot function (myself included) under constant scrutiny, and therefore are never determined to be healthy enough to leave the institution. Such a Catch-22.
