Ta muchly! Not long been into.
It's really weird. I'll see a page and be able to tell pretty much how they did it, but I just really don't know the code :S I've literally only been learning for about a month, basic PHP, HTML, XHTML, CSS, haven't started SQL yet, but will very soon.

    Any tips on getting ahead?

    Hi Welcome !

I've moved into web design (liking the php work here guys ) and performing as a Robbie Williams tribute act. Pays enough to live and gives me the free time to not feel so totally drained by the rat race. Plus it allows me the freedom to work on my music projects and film scripts (that are finally being picked up).
awwww.. sounds like a dream job.
especially the part of avoiding rat race as much as possible...
and of course working what you like...

Because of the dramatic change in my confidence, I've ended up 'training' people in confidence and raising theirs, feeling that I am responsible for them and their well being.
if you can say, what was the cause to dramatic change of your confidence ?

yeah, you definately sound like typical ENFP

and welcome, I'm looking forward to reading your posts

    :
I'm beginning to think that natural INFPs don't swich to ENFP... but because ENFPs have Fi as secondary funcition, they get wounded almost as easy as INFPs, which makes them low confidence and withdrawn.... for certain time...

    Thanks =D

Well, I suffered from depression and was basically getting sick of feeling that way. My friend Iain went a long way to bringing me out of my shell. He would tease me, not in a nasty fashion but for banter. He made me much quicker witted and taught me to have fun without feeling insulted and being more well equipped to stick up for myself.

Got into Derren Brown, the magician (if you don't know, then you need to Youtube him!) who specialises in psychology, NLP, hypnosis, body language, idiomatics and melds it into tricks and has an extraordinary ability to read people (NOT psychic, he says so himself).
Decided to do a little reading on his specialities and learnt to become more confident in turn. Part of it was putting myself up to challenges involving talking to people.
Like: Going into town and while there make small talk with 5 strangers, while making good eye contact (bonus points for remembering their eye colour).
I did things like cold call people on the phone and say things like: "Hi, is this the Movie Hotline?" When they say no, you just ask them if they know any films worth seeing at the moment. The results are great fun.

Combine this with the fact I've working a pub as a stand-in manager for a year and then done street and door-to-door fundraising for charity, I've had a lot of chances to deal with rejection, the more rejection I got, the more confident I've become.

Same with women, I was so terrible at talking to them, I read up on a thing called 'The Game' , which gave me the confidence to approach them. Sounds shady but it meant it allowed to pick who I wanted to be with (because I'm not going for the first yes I get, I'm going for the best yes I get) and take my time choosing someone who's right for me.

Now just seems to be an exciting time (though don't all ENFP pretty live on the edge of their seats from I've seen?) and for once I'm keeping focus rather than losing momentum as I am so want to do.

The whole training thing seems to be something I just love doing and it's come from me having done what I've done that makes me realise it's possible for anyone and hopefully it's better for them knowing they have someone to give them support and sometimes give them that needed little push.

I'd say I'm a fairly typical ENFP. I pride myself on ability to read people extremely well (I'm getting good at guessing peoples types now) and help them find solutions that suit their values and thinking. I also really love bringing the best out of people, the most confidence, their best ideas, the passion that may be dormant. I like to think of myself as a catalyst, I can't do it for them, but I can be the rocket up their butt that makes them see that they could do it all along.

I used be an INFP (emphasis on the I) but the E is pretty new (past year, 2 years) and enjoying having the outgoing streak.
Also used to be a Type 4, but am now a 2.

It's been helpful for me to identify as an ENFP as it's helped address the problems I have sticking to structure and routine. Instead I've found work that suits me, a style of doing things that means I don't get bored and still manage to get (most) things done in the end.

Thanks to Derren Brown, I am obsessed with reading people and analysing them down to a single brain cell but it has helped enormously with socialising, romance and having more fun.

Because of the dramatic change in my confidence, I've ended up 'training' people in confidence and raising theirs, feeling that I am responsible for them and their well being.
I do like to think of myself as a leader, but more the morale leader, keeping my 'men' in good spirits. I can't organise a night on the lash in a brewery! I leave that to people who won't mess it up.

I can't stand to see people not reaching their potential. It actually saddens me.

Anyways, I'm sure you've heard alot of this before from ENFPs so Hi!
    Nice to meet you all!
    Welcome to typo!

I think you're probably an INFP, reasons:
    1. matt=> guy right? well...
    2. INFPs start out socially introverted, shy and all that stuff, but while developing, the Fi gets shunned and the Ne is told to amp up the volume, you become all jumpy and awesome, which typically resembles extroversion. This is probably more likely to happen to a guy.
    3. You can't just jump between enneagram types, INFPs generally tend to enjoy helping people, which can look like two, but believe me, it's not.
    4. Do you know the actual definition of extroversion? You're probably mixing it up with social extroversion...

I can see where you're coming from, but I keep testing as ENFP.
The change wasn't immediate either, this all took place over the course of about 3 years.

Same for the enneagram, I keep taking different ones and testing as 2.
I've just been through things that have forever changed my life. Such as converting to a religion, then to atheism, because it no longer felt right. There have been many major events in my life that meant after them, I could never look at things the same again.
I'm sure we've all had moments that left us changed, it's how we grow and develop. It's not always a slow ongoing process, sometimes it's a few moments coming together at once.

Just took another one and got:
    E N F P
    95% 75% 62% 78%

Could someone explain to me how the %s work in this breakdown? I've seen a few people with breakdowns on their signatures.

I don't know could he be happy acting as ENFP if he is INFP. what are you talking about is unhealthy INFPs, and he obviously isn't unhealthy because he seems balanced.

    I think he is ENFP.
