I'm sorry I lied, it was all a trap to get you to read my introduction post.
My very fun but also very crazy friend (he's a psyche major, oh joy >.<) introduced me to type casting a few weeks ago and I am both hooked and disturbed by how accurate they typecasting was for both me and my close friends.
Shocked even, by how a few simple questions could lead to such an accurate description of several completely unique individuals. Part of me thinks it's pretty effing sad that each of our personalities can be picked up and boxed so effectively but that part is in serious conflict with the other side of me that thinks this is pretty damn cool.
Thinking vs feeling for example, I wasn't aware so many people actually "felt" to process information. It's so completely foreign a concept to me. I remember having an argument with my friend that blind and deaf people must think very differently than us, because when I think it's predominantly done in either hearing words in my head or occasionally visualizing them. He answered that he had no idea what I was talking about, they would just think the same way he did...but he had a lot of trouble explaining to me how he "thought". He's an ENFP and I'm an ENTP, it's all so much clearer now.
Unfortunately I've bored my friends to death talking about this. And at risk of boring you (hehe) I'll wrap this up. Hi fellow ENTPers, and XXXXers (<- sounds kinky ), I look forward to boring yo-I mean discussing with you...endlessly...in the near future.
