Eh, most of my time is spent around one of two ENTPs. One is my roommate and he's 30, another is my supervisor who's 39. If my roommate didn't have a girlfriend and my supervisor didn't leave an hour and a half before I do, I'd likely go nuts. Thankfully I only get enough to be entertained all week with a smile on my face.

I accept no responsibility, what so ever, for the fact that I exist; I do, however, accept full responsibility for what I do while I exist.

A guy as well. I have yet to recognize a female ENTP in my surroundings.

They're probably rare. As far as I know I've never even met another Thinking female of any type, period.

I think I've known two, an INTP and an ENTJ. Very entertaining, both crashed and burnt when heading out on their own for two different reasons. Haven't known how the INTP has been doing in almost 4 years. The ENTJ on he other hand got mixed up in a scam and got our rent account locked down over a year ago. Now she's back home living with her mother again. *sigh* Trouble, trouble, trouble...

Oh, ouch.. Hopefully the INTP is doing okay.

Semi unrelated: I wonder which demographic (Thinking females vs. Feeling males) tends to have a more difficult time living with the gender stereotypes in America (and other countries, too, of course)?

It really all depends, we both get the shit smacked out of us for not being what's expected of us. I've been working on caring less as the kind of girl who would work well with me to begin with is not one who's going to have a serious problem with me being F. Besides, I still manage to be somewhat reasonable.

Last I heard about the INTP was that she was going to get kicked out of the place she was living and didn't look like she was raising a finger about it. Then again, that information was through third party as she was in another city at the time.

This is probably a less popular opinion for an NT to hold in this forum, but I find NFs very reasonable and grounded. The NFs that I've met are all socially graceful people and some of my closest friends. When I'm going through a tough time they come through for me like champions always able to size up a problem in its entirety and deliver a workable solution for it in the blink of an eye. When it's my turn to help them, however, it's like the deaf leading the blind. My N and T are both strongly pronounced and the combination can make even the simplest things difficult. (So, essentially, hurray for NFs and their strange powers.)

Maybe she felt like her backup plan was sufficient? (Backup as in, her mother.)

Of course that's true and no unpopular opinion at all.

Just quit the NT, NF talking crap in the long run and use your own words

I prefer to~! I wasn't basing my generalization on anything but the kinds of threads that I've been noticing seem to appear more frequently than not in the NT Rationals forum.
