Default Hi! I think I'm ESTP, or maybe ESFP :S :)

    Hey guys,

Just got really interested in this 'typology' stuff since I stumbled across a link to a MBTI test in a Board game website. Anyway, I took the test and it told me an ESTP, then I read the profile for an ESTP and was amazed at how close everything resembled me!

Anyway, I've been taking more tests and some I get ESTP, some I've gotten ESFP. So I guess I'm a mix of both?!

Haha. I read that ESTPs have a hard time in school, especially higher education. This is exactly me, I feel like I've never done homework ever and I got through high school that way. Haha. I also do assignments last minute, or even half do them or not do them. Also, my ride through uni has been crap. Just passing some fails, lol I'm in class right now actually! haahahahaa.... Been browsing the web for the past hour and haven't listened to a single word from the lecture...

What brought me to this site was after I googled "ESTP study tips" because I can't stand to fail any more subjects. Haha I've read a few threads here and all the ESTP stuff is so interesting because it relates to me.

Haha anyways, I'm looking forward to reading and learning more about myself here. Hopefully I didn't bore you guys! Will I even keep visiting this website? haha I don't know. Anyways thanks for reading

p.s Woops forgot to give a description about myself,

    I'm 22 lol

Not doing homework? Sounds familiar for some reason...

If you are testing ESTP and ESFP, you might well be on the cusp of being a Thinker Vs. a Feeler.

One of my best friends is right in the middle with regard to Introversion Vs. Extroversion.

So, you might be "ESXP" and oscillate between Thinking and Feeling as your mind sees fit.

Have you read an ESFP description?

If so, how does it compare to the ESTP description, with regard to accurately describing you?

    Anyhow, WELCOME!!!

Okay, just read the ESFP portrait, and a lot of it actually relates to me as well! haha

    Now I'm confused :S

Anyway heres the result of a test I've done:

I'd say you're probably an ESTP that's just well rounded, nothing wrong with that!

ESFPs and ESTPs are pretty similar to each other anyways, that may be a source of confusion for you.

    Welcome.

    Cool!

Then you are most likely ESTP, and when tested at some point you gave some answers that pushed you over the line to ESFP.

Interestingly enough, I am ESTP and one of my best friends is ESFP.

We are REMARKABLY similar people. There are some pretty striking differences as well mind you, but overall we are more alike than different.

My Father is ESTJ. He and I are also very much alike, but boy oh boy, there are some differences too.

It is interesting to see how each type characteristic plays out in the people that are part of your life, once you get them tested that is...

Welcome my ESTP friend! Nice to have another Promoter on the forum!

    Thanks for the replies

Just wondering... Are there any places to do a more professional/accurate test?

There is an 53 question long test that I know of, I usually score INTP or INTJ, but this one scored me as INFP. I'd say it's pretty accurate. Let me get that think for you... http://similarminds.com/cgi-bin/newmb.pl

I took one similar to this but it was 108 questions, it measured enneagram and MBTI. So I figured you'd just go with that one. See what you get. I just took it and got INFP, so it checks out for me.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who sometimes wavers on type. Though I am pretty sure I'm INTP, I have tested INFP on occasion.

I wonder if Ps in general have a harder time self-identifying. Decisions can be so hard...
