    Default Empathetic INTP

Hi, I'm an INTP and I'm new to the forum. I figured that I should start with something controversial, in that I've been called "empathetic", which I would have never ascribed to the INTP profile. I've also been called "warm" by the same person. Not that there's anything wrong with that

sounds like the other person didn't:
    1) understand the definition of "empathy"
    2) didn't know about your true intentions...

Welcome finnegan! have a nice stay

Actually, she was my career coach, and she was surprised when I told her I score very high in I. I had never thought of myself as empathetic or warm, since most people would describe me as Spock, but it just goes to show you that INTPs can have feelings (or at least display feeling-like attributes); they just don't know what to do with them most of the time
