i wasn't aware that there was anything that an ENTP can't or shouldn't do.

as a matter of fact, i wasn't aware that ENTPs existed that thought that.

Basically what you wrote in your edited introduction. How did you find MBTI? The forum? What are you interested in? Why physical therapy?

Otherwise, focus less on personality type and more on you. ENTPs can make great doctors. However, physical therapy in particular is very hands on, so are you okay with that?
Thanks!!! Yes, I'm looking into a couple docorate programs. It will take 3 years, and tons of work.

About the hands on portion, I'm assuming that ENTPs are usually aren't.

MBTI - I took a leadership class for my masters, and it was an assignment from the professor. She was a HR mgr., and the MBTI was completely on target. THUS, making me think entirely too much about my life.

Forum - Goggled ENTP in some variation.

Interests - Everything, BUT work. hahaha. Mostly my hobbies and sports, so PT is an idea that I have. Biking, snowboarding, paintballing, football, hunting, 4-wheeling. I've done a lot of PT from injuring myself doing activities in the past, so it interests me. I would do something in PT related to sports injuries.

This is half the problem! I think I can do everything, but can't decide on one thing.

I wouldn't describe it as a strength as defined by MBTI, but there are plenty of ENTPs that defy that. You just need to be aware of the requirement and decide for yourself.

It's been awhile since I researched this, but don't most physical therapy doctorates programs require so many hours working in an out-patient environment, anyway? If you really want to find out if it's right for you, go try it out. You may even be able to find something that fits your work schedule.
