I will try to contribute something useful, although in the beginning I may do more reading than writing.

I look forward to hear from you.

Thank you all for the nice welcome!

I do not develop any software - it occurs to me that I should have picked a different nick......

I ran into MBTI during some management training, like, ten years ago, and I have done a lot of reading since then. It's fascinating. It's not science, but it is convincing. I will try to comment on some of the topics here, but you guys are such pros, so I need to work up some courage... ** blushes timidly **

Don't worry. If we disagrees with you, we will just humiliate and degrade you into submission.

Hello! Is your avatar the CSI guy, or do you just look a lot like him?

    Hello Ivy,

yes, the avatar is Gil Grissom from CSI. On the internet, he is usually typed as an INTJ, and I like him very much because he is smart and has a weird sense of humor.

I am afraid, I don't look that cool in RL.....

That's okay! It's better to be like him than look like him. Although both would have been fine too.

He's a cool character. I liked the storyline with the forensic anthropologist (?) he was kinda-sorta into, but he couldn't pull himself away from work to kindle things with her and so forth. The actor who plays him can convey a lot of complex emotion and thought in a pained look.

I am not sure I am like him. I guess there is always an element of wishful thinking when you identify with a TV character. Anyway, he uses his brain to overcome problems, and he makes fun of himself - I like both of that.

The actor is a famous theater person, did a lot of Shakespeare stuff, and it is pleasure watching him.
