    We seem to collect them!

I'm an INTJ as well, but my Socionics type is ENTp -- so I guess I appear to be an ENTP on the outside, which makes sense, because my INTJ functions would then be directed in the opposite directions!

    Willkommen!

Hello, Prometheus. Welcome to MBTI Central. Discussions here often include elements of MBTI and general psychology.

I notice your user name is Prometheus. Did you choose the name after the mythological character who stole fire, from the term for NT's in Keirsey's original four temperament groups, or elsewhere?

How long have you been studying MBTI types? Do you have any unanswered questions about MBTI?

    Welcome, Prometheus.

There are plenty of INTJs around here, you'll fit right in.

    My liver is fine, thanks.
Before I know about the mbti I justified my love for knowledge with the prometheus complex. After I read about the NT temperament I drop it, but I still feel identified with it.

I do have a question. For me to develop Se, it is necessary to develop Fi? Or does Se requires very strong Te?

Not sure. But I really think that it isn't in your best interest to develop your inferior function directly, as this could lead to stress. Your best bet would be to develop it enough to pursue a specific goal that requires it, but no more. In theory, you shouldn't even be able to develop it until age 35 or something. Although I've developed slightly more skill with my tertiary than is normal for my age (I shouldn't be able to use Ti at all, for instance, but I've found that I actually can to some extent.)

    Hello from a fellow INTJ

I don't know that much about my type but I'm here to learn and grow.

People here are generally nice, or at least that's what I found. But one thing I'm trying to learn is to grow a thicker skin. I don't generally take critism well, but that could be because I think I'm always right.
