    Default hi

HI I'm an INTJ and I found about this forum on INTP central. Didn't know this one existed. Glad to finally register here.

    Welcome!
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Hello, amber_rk. Welcome to MBTI Central. The discussions here often include elements of MBTI and general psychology, so if you have questions regarding either, feel free to ask.

Ironically enough, that's how I found this forum. I registered there, posted once, and was redirected here by an administrator named Dr. Haight, whom I later discovered to be the same administrator who is just called Haight here.

How did you discover your personality type, by the way? I've noticed there are an awful lot of people who test as INTJ.

Thank you for the warm welcome!

I found that I was an INTJ after the official MBTI test I took at work.
I work as a student journalist in my university and we all took the test to co work with each other, which didn't work out really well in the end.

I was really interested in the result because it kind of nailed me in a right way - the result was just exactly me so I was really stunned.

Plus, it was really exciting to find out the MBTI of other ones in our office because it kinda explained them well too.

Anyway I got interested more and more because there was this guy who tested as an INTP who sort of got along with me well, but finally turned out not to because I didn't like his indecisiveness nor uncontrollable emotions.
