    Edit 2: Several years ago a friend split up with his partner. He moved into a house with several guys, two of whom were called Dave. To distinguish between the two (for practical purposes), someone came up with the bright idea of *renaming* the larger man "Little Eck". Of course, over time the smaller fellow became "Big Eck".
