Default So, just HOW misunderstood will I be here?

Question: If what I've read here, there and everywhere is true, that only 1-5% of the population are INTJ, why are so many INTJs registered on this forum? Do we all, despite the dangers to our own sanity, congregate with our own kind, or are most of you just liars?

Jewel here. Nice to meet you all, maybe.

    No, really.

    Well, we'll see.

That seemed to be a very INTJ post.

And very typical of the sort of things INTJs here say. (So I think they ARE live, not Memorex. )

    Welcome.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

You won't be understood at all...no need to be suspicious. You'll be understood completely, because now that you're part of our family, we ARE you.. *touches*

Welcome. You'll probably find yourself less misunderstood here. However, you might discover some other INTJs ... difficult. *

Hello, INTJewel. Welcome to MBTI Central. You obviously understand MBTI theory and general psychology, so the discussions here should be interesting for you.

I've met several INTJ's on here. Many of them look like real INTJ's, but there are one or two who probably aren't. As an INFJ, I understand their worldview through Ni, but feel frightened by it's harsh, piercing coldness (probably from their Te).
