Default You're wasting your time - he's nothing like the Nightrider!!

INTPc denizens will recognize me by my same handle (although this is my first ever intro thread - yay MBTIc!)

Long story short - I'm a 25 year old dude working in engineering/research, just sorta killing time til' retirement or a big online poker score.

In my spare time I do the whole motorcycle/mountain bike/action sports thing, but I'm pretty lazy so it mostly takes the form of commuting on my motorcycle.

Umm.. guess that's it for now. I never know what to say about myself in these things - ask away! Don't expect super-speedy responses though, as I really only cruise the forums here & there during the day.

    P.S. INTP is me.

Hello, 563 740. Welcome to MBTI Central. You probably already comprehend the nature of MBTI and general psychology discussions on this forum, and need no help regarding this aspect.

Engineering and research? In what field? Electrical? Information Technology? Have you designed anything revolutionary yet?

Your leisure pursuits are quite unusual for an engineer. You are quite multifaceted.

Mechanical engineering by learnin' but my current job is more of a physics-y, material coatings type thing. It's fun, but I'm starting to think I'm a bit too pessimistic to really be into research science ("This damn thing is never going to work! :steam: )

I blame my leisures on a borderline S/N preference. My natural mode is very much Intuitive but I also enjoy the simpler, "fast cars & hot chicks" things in life. A blue collar soul with a white collar mind, or something like that.

The G-M seems like he's been pretty inactive over at INTPc for most of the summer. Maybe he's out doing the real world thing?

Heh - that's my theory anyways. I confess to spending more time out & about as well (a.k.a: my 3 month delay in arriving). Must be the nice weather.
