    Post Hello everyone.

Recently took the MBTI in a Psych Lab. I thought it was pretty ambiguous at first, but then I read Paul James' INTP writeup and was floored when I found it perfectly reflected nearly everything about me, particularly my living style and my tendency to be a "social Chameleon." I immediately became curious about typology, and tried to type all of my friends and put them into groups and see what I found. Still having difficulty hammering people down into a type but a bit more understanding about the types and functions should help. Most of them are artists and graphic design or in the science fields, not sure if that's related.

So I figured I'd say hello and introduce myself.

Welcome, oh social chameleon. Judging from your picture, your chameleon skills may still need some work. But it's a good start.

It becomes a lot easier to type people once you've interacted with others whose types are presented to you. I hope you enjoy it here.

This is good to know. Hopefully I'll be able to get a feel for others around here and can apply that to the people I meet, as well as people I already know. While intro or extroversion is relatively easy to see, the others are a bit more difficult at my lower level of understanding.

    Thanks for the welcome everybody.

    Welcome, vanishing man.

You do get a certain touch after the interaction over here. I'd say it comes without trying, passive absorbtion. Also I'd say especially with the introverted types, since we really aren't going to go shouting our thoughts all over the place IRL. But feel free to use us as guinea pigs, if you can.
