I got this link to a PM in my email saying it would be nice if I did an introduction. So here it is.
I first learned about type in 1978. Yup, Way back then.
And my sole claim to fame, (I will make it once, and here only)
I was the first ever ISTJ to complete an MBTI Practitioner Workshop run by Isabel Briggs Myer. Way back in 1986 ... ... ... Woo Hoo!
They asked so many questions. So many questions!!!!
I have vivid memories of that workshop and the best of them all was all the ENFP's and ENFJ's getting up and doing a group presentation on what the ENF profile looks like. You know what they finished with? That song from Cabaret,
"What good is sitting alone in your room?
Come hear the music play.
Life is a Cabaret, old chum,
Come to the Cabaret."
Well, that alone was worth all the notes and readings about Extroverts I ever read. Well ~! So there.
One happy ISTJ from Australia, that place on the other side of the Pacific Ocean.
Oh, and I feel very comfortable in the SJ Guardhouse. Oh, what a wonderful forum, full of people just like me. It's like coming home.
