Default Am I in the right place?

I am an INFJ according my test results and a good freind of mine told me to join these forums.

But I joined INTP central - and was told I was in the wrong place and was directed here.

I'm a bit confused - especially as I don't know much about all this.

Am I in the right place now?

& Welcome! Yes you are now in the "right" place. Feel free however to post/hang-out at INTPcentral if you feel more comfortable there!! A large majority of us came from INTPc originally and many of those people still post there. Here is a link that may clear up your confusion written from an INTP perspective, I hope it helps! I think you will enjoy it here!

Yes, because I was directed here as well. I hope that you enjoy your time here. Anyway, have you been studying MBTI or Jungian Theory for very long? And what are your interests?

No I know nothing about it - a very good friend of mine asked me to take the test and recommended I come here.

I just want to talk - I am a single parent and I don't get out much lol.

I believe in peace, love and happiness.

I am also an ex-Muslim. I was devout for many years, but 911 and other things made me question my faith and I realised I didn't believe in any religion.

ps xander - I dance to the music of life hehe lol

    Welcome to MBTIc.

How old is your child? And yes, the parent thing can be rough, especially if you are going it alone. Online is the most convenient way to "get out" sometimes.

That's interesting. Were you "born into" the Muslim faith, or was it something you embraced when older (a conscious decision), then rejected later? And was your decision more of, "I can't really support the values I see here in this faith system," or "I can't see any real proof/evidence that this faith system or any faith system is right"?

(Only answer the questions you feel comfortable answering, I am just curious. )

But in any case, welcome again.

    I have 4 kids from 2 marriages aged 6, 7, 16, 19.

I was born a Muslim but didn't start practising until aged 20. I always had difficulty with some things ijn Islam - but had a very esoteric/allegorical understanding and the Muslims around me were good decent people so I didn't question things too much.

911 and events in my personal liufe threw me out of my comfort zone and made me question long and hard - I realised that I simply couldn't believe some things in the Qur'an were from God - everything started to collapse after that and I began to wonder why I had ever believed in religion in the fisrt place as it now seems so obvious it is all man-made.

my ex-wives are still devout but the kids live with me.

    Dont ask... lol

Wow! INTPcentral was a joke? It all makes sense now.

Welcome cosmicdancer! I'm an infj as well. Interesting username. Any story behind it?
