I'm helium. I'm an INTP, sometimes bordering on daredevil ISTPishness. I'm interested in learning almost anything and doing almost nothing (unless, of course, I'm feeling dardevilish).
I'm not married, but I have a partner of 7 years. I care for her (chronic bone infection and other complications secondary to paralysis) and her/our daughter (13, now) from her previous marriage.
I utterly failed to introduce myself at INTPC because I previously had been active for a year or two on a mailing list dedicated to the same subject, and had just lost the initiative to check e-mail that often (100+ / day). Some years later, having found INTPC, I was glad to find a forum with enough diversity to appeal to me.
Besides my two closest friends, who are INTPs, my life is otherwise surrounded by INFPs, including my brother and, I suspect, my partner (who may be a weak extravert, but an NFP sure enough).
I'm also a scholarship-earning University drop-out, who shifted from the practicality and employability of computer work to a passion for reading and writing. I'm soliciting freelance copywriting gigs (with some help and some success) so I can work from home while I take care of family.
Does that just about cover it?
