  • This video shows how an enneagram type one can plummet to rock bottom and how they can find their way back to a state of oneness, perfection and mindfulness in a simple way.For an enneagram type one, the 'problem' which causes the suffering is the belief in imperfections. They feel responsible for making themselves and the world around them better than they are, forgetting that by resisting what is, they are trying to resist the universe. They have a judging voice in their head about whether they are living up to the high standards they have set themselves, leading to stress, obsessive comlusiveness and an inability to be playful and spontaneous. If, bit by bit, ones can give themselves a break, and remind themselves often that 'no doubt, the universe is unfolding as it should', they can accept the moment (as Eckhart Tolle, for example, advocates) and work their way up the ladder back to joy and that realization of their own perfection (a la Abraham-Hicks )

Creepily accurate. Almost identical to my internal monologue.
