No wonder my ESTP thought he was always getting the brush off
Your ESTP? Quite possessive you are.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

So was this receiving or giving or either. I clearly will give acts of service, however not necessarily want it in return. I would find verbal affirmations surprising even for extraverted types since SPs (or at least me) would prefer to do than talk. I would say
    1. Acts of Service
    2. Quality Time
Very distant follow-ups (and not necessarily in any certain order):
    Receiving Gifts
    Physical Touch
    Words of Affirmation

    For me:

    1) Acts of Service 2) Physical Touch 3) Quality time(obviously)

    * I don't really believe in Receiving Gifts though..your special someone can give you gifts but does not love you anymore.

    1) Quality time - probably spent doing some fun activity together, likely outdoors... Eventually this will be combined with some physical touch.
    2) Acts of service - I hate doing that crap and if anyone wants to do it for me, I'll like them all the better. I have a housekeeper now, so it wouldn't necessarily apply...but if I didn't...
    3) Gifts - If someone can find a new gadget I'll like...
    4) Physical touch & Words of affirmation - tied for last place. Either one of these by itself is lame.

    S 68.75% N 31.25%
    T 87.1% F 12.9%

This is mine also. I have learned recently how important quality time is.
