ESFPs are open with their emotions, and they don't consider the future as quickly as the here-and-now. He'll be very sweet and tell you anything and probably won't be afraid to approach you. They're afraid of criticism and rejection though so if he suspects you aren't interested he will likely back down. It shouldn't be hard to tell - ESFPs say things impulsively and bluntly, just how they feel.
