Can you show some examples of artwork that you like?

Do you think the concept of “love at first sight” is possible to experience?

What’s your favorite kind of juice?

Which mbti type(s) do you feel least similar to?
That's a difficult question. I actually had to look up type descriptions and make a list of pros and cons for every type. However, the INTP description suited me significantly worse than all others (29%, followed by ISTJ with 46%). So INTP would be it.
Very interesting, as I would also say ESFP is the least similar type to me (I'm a disguised INTP).

I have a theory that the least similar type to any given mbti should be the one with opposite first 3 letters, with the J/P part being the same.

I disagree. Having the same functions but in opposite order would give us radically different motivations I would think and greatly alter how we use them. Surely also you're more similar to INTJs than to ISFJs, even though ISFJs have closer functions. I believe that's because the INTJs have preferences for similar styles of mind, even if what they extravert or introvert is different. The intuition and thinking along with keeping a primary focus on introversion would be the same.

ESFJs I see as more different from myself than ESFPs. That's because the SPs are more into objective analysis and can craft innovative solutions to many contexts, whereas the SJs tend to do what's accepted by the precedents and established by external standards. Clearly the former is more NT than the latter.

Don't take what I said too seriously, but I thought it would be cool to create a counter-argument against your theory on who's most opposite.

Oh god, there is so much I like, I can't just pick something I like the most. However, if I have to say what makes the things I like decorating with or my taste in general 'different' from what the average person I know likes, the biggest difference would be that my taste is bold and relatively childish.

Do you think the concept of “love at first sight” is possible to experience?
Used to think so, but no. A crush on first sight, that could be, but not love. I need bonding for that, bonding needs time.

What’s your favorite kind of juice?
Peach.

I don't know if I can back that one up. I can usually find common ground with ENTP's, who would be opposite from me on the first three letters, but similar on Perceiver/Judging preference. I can usually joke around well with ENTP banter, and their extroverted energy can make them a bit "action" oriented in a sense, and we're capable of running in the same pack.

It's the INTP's who I probably find most perplexing.

I've noticed that ESFJ humor will be pretty similar to ours once they have some Ne going... Basic difference is they have more appropriateness filters. Their values seem much more similar too. I get along with them fairly well, and they seem much more relatable ESFPs.

I don't get that SP 'objective analysis' thing you've mentioned.

Anyways, even assuming the theory is good, it should have its exceptions.

Don't take what I said too seriously, but I thought it would be cool to create a counter-argument against your theory on who's most opposite.
No problem.

Interesting. ISFP is likely the type whom I'm least familiar with, so it's hard to tell.

Still, I suppose a random observer, specially if extrovert, would likely think you are more similar to INTPs than ENTPs.

All in all, I think my theory works best when we have a 'neutral' observer.

ISFP's and ISFJ's are definitely different. But both strive for peace and are pleasant when interacting with others. I've always tended to have great relations with ISFJ's. I don't tend to look at them as though there's something odd about them.

As an ESFP, how do you experience Fi? Do you think you experience it differently from NFPs?

I don't think ESFPs experience Fi differently than ENFPs. The way I experience Fi is that I can get emotionally affected by all kinds of things very easily. I think the most prominent way it affects me, is how the state of the people I love changes the way I feel. If someone I love feels bad or if that person is sick or going through rough times or whatever, I'm having a rough time too. It's happened before that I was unable to be truly happy for months when a loved one was feeling bad. This doesn't happen when I don't really love someone, in that case their suffering sometimes doesn't even affect me. I can also get very angry when someone bashes my values (like the fanatic christian girl I spoke about earlier). I also hate it when I worked on something with someone else and when it's finished, an outsider gives ME all the credit (this happens a lot, I always insist that the person I cooperated with is getting some credit too). People have told me they think I'm a bit rigid when it comes to morals, but I just can't stand any type of injustice. And I'm also very honest about everything.

*thinks of this question*

Why do you think we have so few ESFPs here?

And, in light of that answer, why are you here/what makes you different?

It's the internet. ESFP = sex = porn = internet. Duhhhh.

Why do you think we have so few ESFPs here?
Because we don't get involved in shit we don't need.

And, in light of that answer, why are you here/why are you different?
Because there is a possibility that knowing about this shit would come in handy for me one day professionally (I'm doing psychology). Therefore I need this shit :happy2:

What are your thoughts on Jungian typology thus far?

How accurate do you think it is? What do you think it can be used for?

What do you understand Jungian typology to be?

how do you respond when you note that someone you care for is being moody over something silly-like pouting? Do you become frustrated or do you find you will tend to try and coddle them a bit to cheer them up? Do you find that you are pretty tolerant of other people being moody over day to day stuff or do you expect they will eventually get over annoying things an "man-up" so to speak?

When you are in a 1 on 1 interaction with another, how do you show that you care for them? What types of things do you say? What do you complement them on?

when you walk in a room describe what types of things you see right away? what things do you notice first?

Could you fall in love with someone without ever meeting them-aka online romance?

Can you decsribe what it is like in your mind to recall a very emotional expereince? Do you relive the moment emotionally in your head-the smells, tastes, etc of the memory?

Do you find Ne to be odd? If Ne takes dissaciated leaps, does Se hyperfocus on the object in front of you and keep seeing more and more of the details ?

Do you sense Ni at all in yourself? My esfp sister occasionaly comments on odd paranoia but wont really talk about it too much...

(Sorry for all the qeustions-esfps are so rare round these parts but are really fascinating people and I totally dig watching you guys and would like to understand you better)

What are your thoughts on Jungian typology thus far?
I always learned that it's more a kind of pseudoscience, so I tend to view it that way too. However, it does seem to have this appeal for non-psychologists and they seem to be able to use it in a way that helps them solve their life problems. I just really want to see what makes exactly this theory interesting and helpful for 'normal' people. It could help me improve my work one day.

How accurate do you think it is? What do you think it can be used for?
As far as I looked into this material, I found that it's not that accurate, but it's accurate enough to help people find a 'type' that suits them, which can help them find more suitable solutions to various issues in their lives. Can't remember the last time love or career advice was given by using the Big Five.

What do you understand Jungian typology to be?
Pseudoscience, but useful pseudoscience.

I usually try to figure out what their problem is and then I'll try to help them solve it, or I try to cheer them up. I've been known to feed people chocolate when they're feeling down. However, this is when people are dealing with problems that I see as problems too. When they're going mad over something not worth going mad for, I tend to tell them they're an idiot or I go into ignore mode.

When you are in a 1 on 1 interaction with another, how do you show that you care for them? What types of things do you say? What do you complement them on?
I just say what's on my mind, really. And I tend to give compliments that I really genuinely mean. Idk, I think showing affection is more some kind of body language thing. I'm pretty expressive when it comes to that.

when you walk in a room describe what types of things you see right away? what things do you notice first?
People, furniture, that sort of things. Big things. And then I notice things that are exceptionally pretty or ugly. I also tend to notice picture frames right away. Plants not so much, plants are boring.

Could you fall in love with someone without ever meeting them-aka online romance?
Nope, never. I noticed that I need to actually meet people in order for them to sort of become a person to me. If I only know people online, they're usually just words and pictures to me. Okay, this changes a bit when I see moving footage of someone, like a vlog or something, but I still need that physical interaction. The thing men I tend to feel attracted to have in coming is that they all have the same type of body language when they're talking to me. They don't have this all the time, they don't always have this in groups, they don't always have this when they're talking to other people, they have it when they're talking to me. I can't really describe what it looks like, but it comes across to me as protective and supporting. Only when I had a one-on-one conversation with someone and I sensed that protectiveness, I know I actually feel attracted to someone. And to me this is impossible online.

Can you decsribe what it is like in your mind to recall a very emotional expereince? Do you relive the moment emotionally in your head-the smells, tastes, etc of the memory?
Most of the time I feel what I felt in my body at that point and I see the things I saw in front of my eyes. But if it's a very negative memory, I usually try not to remember it. Gotta stay cheerful.

Do you find Ne to be odd? If Ne takes dissaciated leaps, does Se hyperfocus on the object in front of you and keep seeing more and more of the details?
I know that Ne is almost a synonym of 'odd', but I think it can be useful. The world needs odd people to come up with strange ideas.

Do you sense Ni at all in yourself? My esfp sister occasionaly comments on odd paranoia but wont really talk about it too much...
I'm not paranoid, but I'm quite good at predicting future developments through using common sense. I believe that's Ni too?
