So my Dad is a total car freak and wants desperatively to have a cool 30 year old Mercedes. The problem is they are ultimatively hard to get, often cost around 80.000 Euro and people who own one are unlikely to ever sell it.

So my Dad by chance stumbled in 2002 over a Ford Escort MK I built in 1971 I think and the guy who had it wanted to sell it for 3000 Euro. My Dad bought it.

So this year he has saved some money and maybe has the opportunity to buy a Mercedes. He decided to sell the Ford then again, cause we dont have the place for so many cars and he hasnt the time to care for two Oldtimers.

So he asked me to sell it for him and guess what:

I put an article up yesterday on an online market, with fine photos and a good description and placed the sell order on 5000 Euro. Hahaha and today a guy visited my parents and bought the damn car right away for 4750 Euro :D

I am a natural born sales man, I should start to sell junk to people for horrendous prices :D

Well...you are comparing a one-off advert sale to a lifetime of person-to-person sales.

And then the guy that bought it made some modifications for 1,000 Euro sold it at 10,000 Euro.
