And wouldn't that be boring, if one knew beforehand what someone was like, even if that someone was "perfect"? I'd add to this hypothetical man's many traits: the ability to surprise me every once in a while, and that by default would have to be totally unpredictable, maybe even unpleasant sometimes. How else is one to grow?

Good luck defining it. There is no special thing, or personality trait, or even necessarily interest that is common between the different people I've dated. Hell, there isn't even a common nationality or race.
