Also, I pretty much grew up on all things Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Others: Stuff by Tom Brown, Jr., especially The Tracker. Cormac McCarthy is also good.

Another: How to Be Idle: A Loafer's Manifesto by Tom Hodgkinson

I really enjoyed Twilight, put me to shame. It is a guilty pleasure, I don't think she is an amazing writer. or anything though.

I quite liked The Book Theif. I am have just been reading my boyfriend's collection of Terry Goodkinds Seeker books. I have read the first two books, but because of the length, I felt as if it was a chore. Terry Goodkind seems to write about things that don't have any impact on the rest of the story.

I am currently reading Fire by Kristen Cashore, I haven't got far in it, but i'm giving it time. I'm not really stuck into it yet.

(That's unabridged... I just have a smaller version.. hmm.. interesting guy though, with a very well rounded outlook. And not at all like what the typical myths about him sound like. )

If you like Rock at all, then that's probably the funniest book on the subject.

I am currently reading Three Cups of Tea, by By Greg Mortenson & David Oliver Relin.
I'm a little teapot, short and stout. Here is my handle and here is my spout. Every time I steam up, I give a shout. Just tip me over and pour me out.
