    Nozflubber, you're a total fool.

Why would I go to a pornography store when I can get it for free online?

    Saves gas too.
Don't know how much it'll bend til it breaks.

Lol..... well, some ISTPs are computer illiterate. They need fixins, too! And maybe some kinky playtoys for themselves as well.

ISTP: Expanding on something Bamboo said... if you ever see someone so deeply into a book that an airplane can crash next door and they wouldn't notice, they might be ISTP.

+1. I hate people talking to me randomly.

ISTP's make my heart pitter patter.

I'd probably spontaneously combust in a room full of them.

Yeah, I think all these guys are on the right track. I -did- meet the ENFP I date at a party that my best friend threw about 2 years ago. Although, that was probably a freak accident. I don't think I would have met him anywhere else. I can be bundles of fun going out, but I don't normally prefer parties. And besides, I doubt you'd guess I was an ISTP if there was enough alcohol involved. Hm... yeah so that probably wasn't helpful at all, was it...

Anyways, yeah, I think the design/art class is a pretty great idea if you aren't very outdoorsy. I've always meant to get around to a cooking class too, so that could work (I don't know about guys though?). "Get involved" is probably the best advice. We like creating/crafting/adventuring. And yeah, it might take a while to open us up. But if you can pick us out, and you're involved in whatever it is we're doing, it's so much easier to relate to you! You'd get a much more worth-while conversation with us in a situation like that than if you were trying to talk with us on say.. the train, or something. Although -sometimes- I've had pretty awesome conversations with random strangers on airplanes and such...... .... Oh, okay. That's because every single one of those conversations were with guys I found attractive. +10 interest points. Oh, and humor helps. And people that are "real" with me (i.e. people that aren't trying too hard). Come to think of it, I like to travel a lot. I don't know how you can arrange to sit next to an ISTP though. Hahahah....hah....

    could equally be INTP...

I found my ISTP's in the following places:

    Exhibit A - at a photography club
Exhibit B - mechanic that regularly fixed my parents' car
Exhibit C - person who came to me to be taught German, so he could understand lyrics to a band he was into through a German person he met online through Flickr
    Exhibit D - another mechanic
Exhibit E - participant in a cycling race for which I was an official

So, mechanics and photography seem to be quite a strong fave with ISTP's round these parts.

Good luck in finding your soul-mate. :p

When I am not surfing the internet, I am either:
-- working on my physics/chemistry/biochemistry projects,
-- hanging out with my SO,
    -- working in the yard,
    -- teaching,
-- hanging out with friends, or
-- going kayaking, running, biking, or hiking.

That pretty much sums up my life, haha

Places I have met other ISTPs:
    -- on the internet
    -- working on physics/chemistry/biochemistry projects
-- teaching (some of my students were ISTP)
-- going kayaking, running, biking, or hiking.
