"Oooh something bright, shiny, and new to distract me...." <--- Although I suppose that could be an ENFP too?

Sorry deary, "blind to own faults" is not an INFP problem. Quite the contrary - we nitpick ourselves to death. Stop trying to deflect the criticism. Something else I notice ESFPs do: they won't accept any blame and will push it on the people trying to hold them accountable

My criticism is based on the observations of many, many ESFPs that are swarming the earth. I wonder how many INFPs you've even encountered in real life, much less spoken to.
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

I tried hating ESFPs, but I just can't.

If it wasn't for the ESFPs, porn would be hard to come by and there would be no "Jackass the Movie".

What kind of a dull, horrible world would that be?
Listen to me, baby, you got to understand, you're old enough to learn the makings of a man.

So according to you, no INFP's have self-perception problems? . And supposedly this trait is only inherit in ESFP? LOL. Most people are unaware of their own flaws be they ESFP or not(including INFP's, even if their FI supposedly gives them extremely good self-perception). This is why the term unhealthy was used in the MBTI in the first place.

It's not a matter of taking in criticism, it is a matter of evaulating the validity of your supposed criticism. So far you've only brought childishly gross generalizations and superficial stereotypes to the table. Your devaulating the credibility of your own criticism by default.

And then i guess all INFP's are a bunch of hippies, spending their time smoking weed, singing kumbaya, teaching the world about the tenents of peace? .

Convinent en masse argument. I'd say your perception is skewered if all esfp's you encountered possessed those flaws.

I know some INFP's. two that i know to a personal degree, one that is a close friend of mine, and 3 others from school, enough to give me a rough sketch of how certain types within the INFP profile function, but not enough to make a giant absolute of judgement of the hole profile.

I am too detached to take shit personally. I just give off that impression due to the arguementive tone. What offends me is the lack of objectivity. Not to speak of taking the shit out generalizing in a thread meant to be harmless.
