His other story, the Plague Dogs is absolutely heartbreaking. That's the one that scarred me for life. I saw Watership when I was older... It's pretty epic.

I've never heard of Plague Dogs. I may (or not) have to see it.
I actually saw Whatership Down when I was 11 and it just breaks my heart. There's a really frightening vibe to the whole movie that depresses me every time I watch it.
