I agree. I think that we like animals because there is a high level of sincerity in there expression of love to us. Despite our analytical natures, we are also very sensory people. Animals are innocent, usually, which we value. My mother and I are the only ISTJ's in a very ESFP, ENFP household. Yet we are the closest to the family dog even though she gets more facetime with my little sisters (both ESFP's). Animals flock to us because we treat them with respect and love them sincerely.
