Me too, on both counts. My favorite humor employs randomness and the like, Ne-based humor or Ne-Si is probably a clearer description. This makes sense typologically, I think, because to me Ne is something that is suitable only for playing around--not suitable for use in serious situations (for me).

People often say SJs can't stand Ne...I say that's mostly true in the work-context, not the play-context.
You can't spell "justice" without ISTJ.

Definitely! Ne at work tends to register with me as "not staying focused" -- so I end up looking like I have no sense of humor because I am just Not In The Mood For Games.

Yes, exactly! Sometimes I'm just like but other times I get it and play along!

People who can pull off deadpan humor very well are comedic gods in my eyes. Off the top of my head, the first example I can think of is, oddly, Andy Levy from Fox News.

Aside from that... I lean toward what I shall dub "Nerd-oriented humor" such as xkcd comics.

“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside
them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.” -Neil Gaiman
