Very informative! Thank you. I was actually wondering which enneagram types typically go with all the different MBTI types.

ESFJ -4,7,1,6,3 (not necessary in that particular order)
ISFJ -3,6
ISTJ-4,6,9,3,1(the same as esfj)

this is the info i got from a professional person who is using MBTI and Enneagram in her business for 30 years with clients.

ESFJs are often 7s and confused for ESFPs and ENFPs. i think robbin williams could be one like that, just because he is random on stage doesnt mean he is like that in private. I dont know enough about him but if i remember correctly he has some typical SJ worldviews.

I have another one for NFs if you'd like to look at it

ISTJs and ESFJs are frequently 4s? ISFJs are frequently 3s?
I'm confused.

yeah. my mom is istj 4... but you couldnt tell without kniwing her very privately and without very good understanding of enneagram

all EFs are frequently 4s, drama queens. Why would ESFJ 4 be weird? dramatic person than wants a lot of attention and is adding a tragical flavour to daily stuff like "my life didnt work out because everybody abandoned me, my dad left me.", "the love of my life left me 12 years ago and ruined my life", "Did you see my new curtains? Its so special fabric i think nobod in the neighborhood has anything similar", "My husband is very talented for sales, i think our children are really special too"

i mean imagining a SJ 4 isnt that hard to me

MBTI has a different topography.

9 = 72 - 63
2w3 complements 7w6.

ESFJ complements INTP.
The match does not return.

I think a ton of ISFJs are 1w9, but other than that it seems to make sense

1) 3w2
2) 8w9
3) 6w7
4) 1w2
5) 8w7
this makes sense (3w2 first, no wonder ESTJs get on my nerves lol)

My boyfriend is an ISTJ 4. 4w3. They do exist. Although rare, granted. I'd say they're more common than ISTJ 2's or 7's though.

In fact, I'd actually argue that ISTJs would be more likely than INTJs to turn up as a 4. Si can lend itself to some serious sentimentality. Ni is usually more detached.

yeah my mom is ISTJ 4..sp/so probably.... she is huge workaholic, this is probably more ISTJ thing, but she is not like my sister and me who are 3w4 and doesnt really care what others think... much in 4s style where they put their identity first... she has mood swings ALL THE TIME. and likes to play "poor me" thing to guilt trip, anger rages often, and when she got you down then she tries to please you and unite with you like "we are in this together"(->enneagram 2). It's always the same ritual. LOL. I think most SJ 4s will envy others for their financial well being, or having a good family, that's what my mom does. and also has some connection to "death" like most 4s, guilt tripping us with "when i die nobody will think of me, my place is 6 feet under the ground"... pretty dramatic ISTJ. But coworkers could never tell this, she is professional and even charming at work, because she doesnt care about most people personally and with them she is almost party animal.

I am not sure about her wing, she is workaholic but that's the only 3 characteristic she has.

You are right ISTJ 4s are more common than INTJ 4s, but INTJ 4 is also possible

I'm an ISTJ type 6 (common) with a very strong 7 wing (distinctly uncommon). I'm much more animated and people-seeking than the average ISTJ. Sometimes I look like a total extrovert, sometimes I'm meek and quiet. But it's all ISTJ inside.
