Certainly very interesting as it never went into the stereotypical portrayals of an INTJ the way any sort of media likes to show them as. The balancing made him one of the most likable as well as a constant reference whenever the discussion of fictional INTJs.

essentially Lelouch is what you get when you combine Light Yagami with Joan of Arc. another example of an INTJ with strong Fi is Gandalf from Lord of the Rings, especially when played by the ever theatrical Sir Ian McKellen. in realy life, a great example of this is Ayn Rand, although it might take a while to realize (most people mistake her for a heartless bitch, but she had a ton of passionate and conviction that gave her a strange, subtle kind of charisma)

Hmmm, oh, I've never thought of Ayn Rand in such a way. Shouldn't be very surprising as I do not dwell deep into her philosophies and I've never went into reading her books. Seeing her interviews though I suspected she might be one who does not project the mindset she preaches. I suppose I could look into it.
Certainly agreed with gandalf who grows wise on the cognitive balance.

Superman (ESTJ) - Superman

Maybe the very old, original rendition of the Superman was ESTJ.

His modern reincarnations seem to be INFP.

Thought he was ISTP, I can see ISTJ.

From what I remember from 10 years ago, Maximus was ISTJ.

Also, Jason Bourne is ISTJ.

Superman is ISFJ. Loïs Lane might be ESTJ.

Rorschach from the watchmen - ISTJ.

I don't know whether anyone else mentioned him since I didn't go through the whole thread. If not how could people have forgotten to mention the badest of them all? Cus it doesn't get worst than that. He is just too Awesome to be a comic book character.

Not exactly "badass" (just cool), but Johnny Depp's character Gilbert Grape seemed kind of ISFJ. Maybe a more service oriented IFP, but I doubt it.

Reviving this thread b/c we need Moar Badass SJs!

From "The Avengers" (the movie, not the comics):
Captain America (ISxJ)
Agents Hill and Coulson (ESTJ and ISFJ, I think)

Also:
EVE, from "WALL-E" (ESTJ?)
Princess Tiana, from "The Princess and the Frog" (ISTJ)
Sgt. Batista (ExFJ), Lt. LaGuerta (ESTJ), and Sgt. Doakes (IxTJ) from "Dexter"

Hermione (ISTJ) and Watson (ISFJ) were good ones, early in the thread

I thought that Princess Tiana was closer to ESTJ...... it's hard to get at a type for EVE but ESTJ would be a good guess for her.

Twilight Sparkle (of My Little Pony fame) is also ISTJ :D

She could be? I guess I got a Hermione-ish vibe from her, i.e. too subdued in her Te to be an ESTJ. But that's more of a gut feeling on my part; I don't have any evidence to back it up.

THIS, on the other hand, is Te dominance that I'm totally certain about. So much of the first part of the movie is her trying to do her job, constantly looking for what she needs, constantly failing, and getting increasingly angry about it. The way she snaps at WALL-E for getting in her way also seems pretty Te. She could be ENTJ  but I related so much to what I perceived to be her Te, that I'm sure she's ExTJ.
Twilight Sparkle (of My Little Pony fame) is also ISTJ :D
Oh yeah, I forgot about her! She totally is. Especially in the episode when she's party-planning.

Edit: More examples off the top of my head...

Steiner, from "Final Fantasy IX" (ESTJ)
Bodie, from "The Wire" (ESTJ)
Mr. Carson, from "Downton Abbey" (ISTJ)

Depending on how you interpret "badass", Miles Edgeworth from the Ace Attorney series is definitely one (ISTJ).

Also, Sakura Oogami and (possibly) Kyouko Kirigiri from Dangan Ronpa, IS(F?)J and ISTJ, respectively.
