Yes, but only an SJ would ask if they were "allowed."

I used to dye my hair in high school to please myself and piss other people off.

...People get pissed off over dyed hair?

Yes it made my grandparents very angry.

I would either shoplift the dye, or buy it with money I made working once I started, and dye it when they weren't home.

Elfboy, but her hair is not pink. I really do like pastel pink.
Still trying to figure out how I'm going to do this without damaging my hair a lot.
Thank you everyone for the encouragement though!

But really, your ISFJ, not ISTJ... it's pretty common for SFJs to want to express themselves through style/fashion, even if it's kinda quirky.
    Thanks. You get it.

Here's pink tips on a brunette:
^ I'm like this girl. Thin, same hair color, style, and similar facial bone structure. I haven't been crazy about highlights/streaks/two-tones, but I like hers. It seems more healthy for your hair but I still prefer the look of the all over pink more.

Maybe but it's my perception that it's true. I don't want them to judge me and not give me a job.

minus the lip piercings, I think this girl did a pretty good job of dying her hair pink in an aesthetically pleasing manner

Sadly, I've only ever seen long pastel pink on mannequins or doll heads. I sure hope it's possible for real hair. maybe I'll buy a bubblegum pink wig and test it out.

Ooooooh. The light pink highlights. I want that all over!
Hot pink is pretty too but it's too much for me.
I wonder if she's naturally blonde.

It is possible if you are either a natural blonde, or if you strip your dark hair with a certain chemical before adding the dye.

It shouldn't mess up your hair too badly if you only do it once.

You could even get it "fixed" later at a salon.

I think I'm slightly bothered by dying only the bottom parts because it sort of looks like she dipped her hair in liquid bubblegum or something. Looks messy.

It will really depend on where you're getting the job and what sort of job you hope to have.
