I like pastel pink and I have long hair, which I want to keep long.

And the INFPs have their results, Captain.

    PINK! PINK! PINK!

I wish I could do pink hair. My hair is so dark its like brown-black. Le sigh. Blondes have more fun because they have more options.

Then have your hair checked every time you go back to have it colored again, and get rid of the damaged parts. I tend to have few damaged parts as I take care of my hair. I only once used hair dye to use at home and found that my hair was completely dried out, so now I get it done at the salon every time.

I say go for it Giggly, have fun!
I'm platinum blonde myself but I've been thinking of adding some lavender streaks

I've had it done too, not pink but other all over colours and highlights. But since my hair grows around an inch a month, roots were an absolute pain since they had to be touched up once every two to three weeks for the all over colour. Highlights were easier to maintain.

Yes, I encourage salon treatment too for any hair treatment. While mine is asian hair which can be nigh on indestructible since it's so thick per strand, if Giggly has fine or fragile hair, this isn't a good idea. And if she's on a budget, this is a very bad idea.

As far as the colour itself, I'm not a fan of pink in general but encourage the fun nature of hair colouring and non-conformity.

Sure they are, pinkish hair is lovely, especially when long. But they're not allowed to think they won't be allowed to do something because they'll join the financial industry - that's a dangerous thought.

You have to coordinate your clothing purchases with your hair. My hair has had some form of hot pink for several years now. My closet primarily exists of pink, purple, blacks and greys. All colors that would work with pink. And for lavender, blues would probably work as well.

Green is an ugly color anyway. Who needs green clothes?

My hair is very dark brown. Ive bleached my whole head before.

Granted, it seems to me that my hair is A LOT more resilient than other people's. I have chemically raped my hair with perm solution, gotten it straightened, dyed it dark, bleached it blonde, redyed it... Over and over in relatively short periods of time, and my hair has never shown any signs of damage.

I used to do the Rogue (Xmen) look. With the two white streaks in the very front? And when I say white, I don't mean blonde. I got that shit white white white. And I ended up using this strong crazy bleach that I found at a store that was intended for black girls hair which is a lot thicker/darker/coarser. The sales lady looked at me and was like, "Honey if you put that on your thin white girl hair, it gonna catch on fire." After about 6 months of that, my hair finally showed signs of some dryness/breaking. That was the only time Ive managed to injure my hair.

Yeah but I love to pull the marilynn monroe bit, as my INTJ is mad about red, which kinda doesn't work with lavender hair. And that's just one example. I tend to like the flexibility to not have to colour coordinate my entire wardrobe, though it is tempting at times...Also, I checked. He's always said he doesn't care about what colour my hair is...Today he added that the hair *has* to be a natural colour though

I'll get the lavender hair extentions though...he can grumble at me the days I feel like going lavender all he wants to

My ENTJ kind of likes the punky girl look. One time I went blonde with no pink highlights, and looked really plain. He was like "NO. FIX IT." A few years ago he wouldn't let me cut my hair short, but more recently he did. I did a faux hawk cut, and he really likes it.

Grin, mine used to only have the rule that it had to be long. The haircolour he could care less about. Today I showed him the pics of what I liked. He instantly freaked

It's funny how they can never tell you what they like but know instantly what they don't like
Mine tends to be amused by my quirkiness but when it goes overboard, or what he perceives overboard, without any real purpose, he rolls his eyes or goes just: 'NO.'
