I used to hold sterotypes, only because it was helpful in dealing with people I didn't know - it gave me a point of reference.

However, being in the real estate business, I've met people of all types and as such I've (mostly) given up on sterotypes. Now I try to gauge people on a case-by-case basis and try my best not to make any assumptions about them beforehand.

Doesn't always work, but it's a work in progress I suppose.
