I have to somewhat push him into new situations. What saddens me the most is that he has told me, he'll never go back to Canada should the opportunity arise, he wants to stay with his nanna. He fears change.

I had to lose (so to speak) to gain what i know now. How do i make a 14 year old do the same without losing everything? Yes he is an ISTJ also.

    Apologies for rambling on.
Yeah, I'm sort of like that too, I'm not to an extreme extent. I have a feeling that the ESxJs handle it better imo. Thanks a lot for the response, you didn't ramble at all.

Right. To what extent do you do this?

Really .. Why would you say that? In what context do you mean?

^ It's a scary thought when you would go home and your friends and family don't know who you are.

In that when you are gone, you have no legacy left, and even the people you loved, slowly forget you. There's nothing sadder than that thought

That you haven't made enough of an impression on anyone, to have them remember even one thing about you. Less of a fear, than a nagging thought.

The unknown is easy. The unknown becomes known. Be it pleasant or unpleasant.

When i am dead, what will i care, afterall i am dead. People move on, this is life. I wouldn't care that i left no legacy. It is not important if i am unable to experience it myself.

If you haven't left an impression on someone, then why would you care in the first place. They don't appreciate something you have so at the end of the day, it is their loss.

You are free to leave an impression on someone else
