While responding to another topic, I thought this might be an interesting thing to do. SJ's, post a picture of something that you find beautiful.

To start things off, here's a picture one of my friends took on his vacation. I have it framed in my house.

Wow, I'm gonna need to visit Alberta, Canada (along with other parts of it. I've always wanted to see Canada). That is right up my alley.

A couple of pictures I took that I find to be "beautiful":
Multonomah Falls, Oregon

I spotted a little alleyway behind a restaurant and it led to this cool photo. Fisherman's Wharf area, San Francisco:

Mobile, AL. I like this picture. It has a creepy, abandoned insane asylum feel. You almost expect to see a zombie or apparition lurking about 8()

I miss that camera... It actually took pretty decent pictures. Thanks dad for losing it on a business trip.

I know. I really, really, really want to go backpacking in the Grand Tetons. Or spend my honeymoon in a cabin there. Breathtaking.

I wish I could go to Banff, or Kananaskis, or Jasper. Right now I can only see the mountains on the horizon on really clear days. They teas me I tell you, they really do!
