No, to be honest I want nothing doing with her. I would like to clear the air so that it is comfortable for everyone else when we do have to spend time together (family traditions.) Everyone is uncomfortable.
However, when I have tried to cut ties, she lays a guilt trip on my father. I cannot spend time with him, without her. I cannot see my little brothers and sisters without her or now that they are a bit older, she lays guilt trips on them as well. My daughter cannot spend time with my father (her grandpa) without her etc. You get the picture.
If we are cordial, there are more times when we are able to hang out without her presence.
So basically, my choice hinges on all or nothing. There are times that I am very close to giving up that entire side of the family due to her antics. Just havent gotten there yet.
