Not to mention she would take the dissapointment well since they are all the time optimistic!
Huh?

She's not devoid of feeling.

Funniest thing I've read here in a long time! :D

LOL, a this had to be inspired by a Feeler...

lol. Shes not? And here I thought all this time the SJ's were supposed to have no feelings at all! Jeez, you NFP's really know how to pull the wool over an SJ's eyes!

HEY! I was told that ENFP's were optimistic ALL THE TIME.... by a very reliable source! An ENFP told me that! ;)

Can you find a way to engage her logic in this whole mess, make it logical that you're not suited to each other?

I don't even know what logic is anymore. It has misled me into mess after mess. Is logic like the good ol' linear thinking I used to be so good at? :cheese: A+B=C ?

A+B=A+B

:D

Which may, but not necessarily (and likely not) equal C.

Damn I knew I shouldn't have brought up math! Now I'm confused. :(

Do you mean A+B=AB? Yes. I think THAT is what I meant to say before. ;)

No, that's wrong.

AB means A * B, which is different than A + B.

Anyway.... blah blah blah *insert Ti-centric preaching here*.

Oh and, linear logic example:

Premises:
When A is true, and B is true, then C must be true
A is true.
B is true.
Therefore:
C is true.

yeah, take her to a public place (where she won't be prone to make a scene) and lay all this on her and then wrap up with "So you see we're really not suited, it's me not you. You're too good for me." and viola! You're free man, you're free!

Yeah I suppose I could say that. Did I mention she is about 10 years older than I am? Perhaps that changes things? Maybe that is why she is not taking "no" for an answer?

Ease out of this, stop being available to her, let your answering machine pick the phone up. When you do talk to her, be uninterested, keep changing the topic to tedious stuff that could only interest you. Eat jalapeno and garlic sandwiches before meeting with her. Make yourself uninteresting and maybe she'll turn off naturally.

I am not quite understanding what her being ten years older makes a difference. You're not a minor, are you?

But ignoring her isn't a choice! If she want's to talk to me, she WILL talk to me. And I don't have a choice, my job is to interact with her and help her with her academics. If I don't I do not get paid. I suppose I could write a referral, but I have never done that before and she would surely hate me for doing it, because it's alot of stress on student's.

I guess the best thing to do is just talk to her. It is scary though. :(

Surely you can limit what is discussed strictly to academics? (Is it a sexology class or something?)

No of course I keep to the subject! But it's her body language. It makes me a little nervous. You know, the chair scooting closer inch by inch.

You need a fortress of a desk between the two of you. There's a reason for everything like that you know. :)

Yes, but I need to be able to see her paperwork so I can point things out to her. I got an idea! Maybe I should get one of those laser pointers and use it from across the room! :D

Yeah Cimarron, now you know what I'm up against!
