In Japan you do not so much as sneeze without a goahead.
I believe that Britain and Japan are not so dissimilar. However we are not talking about the law abiding citizens. We are talking of the couter culture, the rule breakers. These people would sneeze when specifically told not to unless their boss said not to (the specific name of whom I cannot recall at this point in time).

I have never known two cultures so dissimilar as Britain and Japan.

In both counties you have to recognize the code, sure.
In Japan you have to follow it.

Test the tolerance. Stretch the limit.
It is in the twilight zone. In Merry Old.

Japan is another island. Go to work in a Japanese company you see.
    Eat the humble apple pie.

    Do you want a recommendation?

The specifics of the cultures are vastly different but the underlying philosophies seem very similar to me. I'm looking only at the patterns, the dots mean little to me.

And thereby I envy you. The dots drive me beserk.

Hey! We have to find an appellation for the New Mob.

Make history and find a name. Come on!

I thought the Russian Mafia had their own title?

Not that the Italian Mafia ever did nor the American branch.

Oh and the Yakuza boss... Oyabun. See I remembered eventually

Bratva is good. Unfortunately, only for the rare species who know Russian.

No Xander. It does not have everything.

A good show, old boy. However, we need a word palatable for the English.
    We represent the Lingua Franca.

Yakuza is Japanese, Tong & Triad is Chinese (as far as I am aware anyhow), Mafioso is Sicilian... Why not a Russian word for the Russian mob? Least they'd know when you were shouting at them

Japanese, Chinese and Nipponese are palatable languages in the ears of the English.
    Russian is hogwash.

I love Russian. And the Russians. The people and the language are great.
Alas alone for those in the know.

In spoken Russian the consonants are vocalized, mellowed. It is a musical and a beautiful speech.

Unfortunately their alphabet was originally coined after the Greek Koine.
Ill suited in Russian. Ogham would have served them better.

Nicky was not a Russian. Lennie was not a Russian. Koba and Felix and Beria were not Russians. Was Abramov a Russian?
A Russian died in a Polonium poisoning in London?
    Come on.

Did I say a Russian mob?

    Careless of me.

I intuited that you were on about the Russian Mafia from your original post. Why did I err?
