If I said Why Should I it would mean "Why should I because there aren't many people I'd want to hang out with in the first place, and I could probably do something on my own I'd enjoy more."

I'm not your typical SJ, guys. I'm usually reluctant to say yes, let alone make others do what I want. (Except my little kids who need a lot of instructions.)
    I admit I have a tendency to be passive-aggressive...

I have a two stage response.
    Brain "What for?"
    Mouth "Nah."

The odd thing is that if someone else is going to do something and I just hear about it or something without being specifically invited and kinda pressured to join in then I'm half likely to be enthusiastic.

If there's pressure then you need to prepare for disappointment and if there's tradition/ group pressure then prepare to be repelled!!
Isn't it time for a colourful metaphor?

My first thought is, "You can't make me."

Ok, this is weird. My ENTJ is always the first to say yes and I'm always the first to say no especially if somebody's going out of their way to make me feel compelled or to feel guilty. That pisses me off.

Hm. Most SJs I've met are pretty reluctant to say yes. Fast on that "No" trigger, tho.

I've spent my whole life under the disapproving look of one SJ or other. It's destiny--I'm an NP!

I agree with Natrushka. Theoretically, Es should be more interested in breadth of experience. Introverts are often into energy conservation.

first i say "i think" then I wonder why i didn't say I feel or I know or I believe and why I chose "i think" and then I wonder if I'm thinking and then I'm like oh yeah I need to grab my wallet.
