Just thought I would share that I asked my friend to take one of the online tests that determine type. I picked one that seemed fairly accurate and got my type correctly. . . anyway, he did indeed score as an ISTJ.

What can I say? Y'all are good!

I have an ISTJ friend who reminds me of your friend.
ISTJ's can be geeky.
A difference is that the ISTJ is a lot more cautious and less intellectually outrageous than the INTJ.
They are also likely more social than INTJ's.
Most ISXJ types are infinitely more social than I am- and I'm the extravert.
