Which of the NTs is generally found to be the most artistically creative? Painting, writing music etc.

My guess would be ENTP, followed by INTJ.

Artistic creativity like painting or writing music is often a solitary pursuit, so I think that might attract introverts more. I think it associates more with intuition than thinking, so I'm thinking N dominant might be more inclined towards it than a T dominant.

So I'm thinking INTJ > xNTP > ENTJ in my very non-scientific approach.

See, ENTJs are good involuntary comedians. That's art!

Hmm, interesting responses so far. Out of Ne and Ni, which one could be said to be more suited to these kinds of pursuits? If there is such a distinction.

Ne makes art that is more accessible, but less deep.

Ni makes art that is more deep, but less accessible.

ENTP > INTP > INTJ > ENTJ. According to theory, Ni should create great artwork, but in practice the Ne-users dominate the Ni users. I believe Te is simply too rigid in the external expression of output to allow the best artwork. NTJs may have something great inside them, but it appears to be rarely expressed. That said, NTs are the worst of all the quads when it comes to art. SPs outshine even the NFs.

Because you say so?

I could equally say "But in practice, Ni users dominate Ne users. Ti is just too rigid to produce great artwork".

Even worse than SJ?

Not that SJs can't be great artists, I know a couple who are. I think SJs would be good at reproducing what they see around them and make it look like a very realistic drawing or painting. But I doubt they'd be as good as abstract art or coming up with something totally original. Yeah, I know- stereotypes.

Jaqcues Le Paul could be an NT example of someone very much into the arts (based on forum vibe). Do you have any good thoughts on which NTs are most artistic?
