HEY!!!!

... let's face it, between introverts, one of whom has a Je in the second slot vs a Pe, the Je will typically accomplish more in the real world. It's how they are oriented.

INTPs can sit around and think all day and feel like that was productive, without having done a damn thing externally. This is why it's hard for us to be successful, unless we happen to invent something important and don't have the idea stolen by someone else, or we happen to have our butts kicked around as kids and have had to develop some type of external moxie.

I dont believe that no more. I doubt a J can get more accomplished than I can in daily life. The difference is either that I am more flexible and do adapt rather quickly, while a J does have a more sturdy approach and a better grip on reality. The best and fastest pace of work I can achieve when I work in team with a J. Alone tho those Js aint faster than I am.

I dont think its to good if one only rests on ones mbti type descriptions and never tries to change them. Like Ps are always more lazy or INTJs are all living alone in basements having no friends. I think key to ones own self-development should always to face ones weaknesses and try to get better in that as much as one does feel comfortable with. Otherwise we would be all only be a bunch of SJs :) *provocation intended*

You brought different assumptions to the table than I did. You basically 'changed the problem.' The question as I read it was whether INTJ or INTP is more liable to change the world. If you take a raw, by the book INTP vs a raw, by the book INTJ, then what I said is true.

If you want to change someone away from raw type, which includes making an INTP more outward directed (which I actually noted as part of my answer), then of course what you say has validity. No one is imprisoned by type, we can be more than our raw types. But it takes interaction with the external world, to reveal to us a NEED to change, and then the belief and hope and need to change, to make the kind of change you describe.

Ah it is a public poll. It only notifies if it is public or not before one votes it seems.

And I see who the clown is .

My intuition told me who it was before I even saw the answer.

Then you must be an INTJ since adding 1+1 = 2 isn't actually what Ti Ne Si makes one do. It just tells you that there are more probabilities to the equation if one has that function order.

Edit -

What I was trying to say was - Considering the facts (Se) eradicating all unnecessary data (Te) to arrive at a single conclusion (Ni) to believe in isn't what INTPs are good at.

You're so stuck in a box.

You can use intuition as well as a combination of experience, logic, and whatever else to make reasonable guesses.

I wouldnt know why someone would be afraid to meet you in the real World. Over the years I have come to know you as an intelligent person bearing a lot of wisdom and experience, it would be a waste to not share that. That doesnt mean you should do something you dont like but for me at least it would be a pleasure meeting you (tho we would need to clarify from the start that this is going to be a very confused and symbolic discussion out of the belly :))

Oh yes experience would lead one to make reasonably good guesses.

And since Ti is subjective (?) one would not always entirely be sure.

Better chance than the INTJs at least.

At least INTPs don't have the problem with their head stuck to their asses.

Are you seriously looking for logic in Tea Party propaganda?

These are the people trying to use the Joker as their symbol for a socialist, which could not make less sense (the Emporer also seems to have a lot more in common with fascists than communists). I seriously doubt they have any interest in matching types, they're just tossing out generic evil figures.
