The Skeptics Dictionary has an article disputing MBTI, giving one cause as the Forer Effect. I don't buy into it, obviously.

That's just it though, I think it's all in the eye of the beholder (or believer/naysayer if you will)
I'm all for anything that's going to try and help people relate to themselves and to others on a different level, whether it be MBTI, astrology, spirituality, great sex, good food, and so forth. In this world of constant scientific scrutiny, I find it quite rewarding to go on blind faith for a lot of things. If anything, I can feign ignorance.
