List your favorite artists or preferably the songs (spotify)

Songs that you feel tick in all the boxes that you like in some way.

The goal here is to try to find a pattern in the personalities. I am a INTJ.
Impossible you say. so what.. we might find a new favourite song due to fellow forum users. double wamie woohoo!

I can go first

I like contrasts and complexity, lots of rythm (im no music expert) depth in some way and i also like that it progresses like a journey. And a sence of feeling is good. either evil or good.

Im really fond of the first one and have been since i first heard it some years ago. so amasingly complex.

Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto -- Or anything I can rave to when I've wrecked the bar.

Otherwise, I really don't listen to music.

Except for the stock market closing bell at the NYSE ... so soothing. *ring, ring, ring [someone has a heart attack], ring*

Love it!

No special artist or song, because they're all boring after some time, but I usually hear songs of my "holy trinity of genres", which is techno, metal and gothic.

In the morning
Don't say you love me
Cause I'll only kick you out of the door

I know your name is Rita
Cause your perfume smelling sweeter
Since when I saw you down on the floor
guitar

Won't need to much persuading
I don't mean to sound degrading
But with a face like that
You got nothing to laugh about

Red lips hair and fingernails
I hear your a mean old jezebel
Lets go up stairs and read my tarot cards

Stay with me
Stay with me
For tonight you better stay with me

Stay with me
Stay with me
For tonight you better stay with me

So in the morning
Please don't say you love me
Cause you know I'll only kick you out the door

Yea I'll pay your cab fare home
You can even use my best cologne
Just don't be here in the morning when I wake up

Stay with me
Stay with me
Cause tonight you better stay with me
Sit down, get up, get down

Stay with me
Stay with me
Cause tonight your going stay with me
Hey, what’s your name again
oh no, get down, woo

A few of my favorite artists:

Tom Waits (Tom Traubert Blues, Poor Edward, Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis, God's Away on Business, Cemetery Polka, Day After Tomorrow, etc)

Okkervil River (A Stone, Okkervil River Song, Plus Ones, For Real, John Allyn Smith Sails, Listening to Otis Redding at Home on Christmas, Black, Westfall, Our Life is Not a Movie or Maybe, etc)

Bob Dylan (I'm sure you know plenty by Dylan. If not, stop living in a cave. My favorite it Desolation Row. It reminds me of an updated version of TS Eliot's 'The Wasteland', which I think was intentional based on Eliot's mention in the song)

Belle & Sebastian (If You're Feeling Sinister, Get Me Away From Here I'm Dying, Piazza New York Catcher, Like Dylan in the Movies, The State I Am In, etc)

Velvet Underground (Pale Blue Eyes, After Hours, Jesus, Who Loves the Sun, Sunday Morning, White Light/White Heat, Heroin, I'm Waiting for the Man, Sweet Jane, etc)

Also: stuff by Florence and the Machines, Bright Eyes, Jonathan Coulton, Pink Floyd, Jackson Browne, Elliot Smith, etc, etc.

The aforementioned Pale Blue Eyes by the Velvet Underground is probably my favorite song.
