Definitions:

Mind - intellectual capacity
Body - face and body
Heart - emotional capacity

Of the three listed, pick the most important trait that you want to be valued for, by a partner.

Well it's always good to be intelligent and insightful, but I think I'd rather have a not-really-that-intelligent partner who really cares about me and others than a cold genius. But that's not really a problem because smart people don't have to be unloving and caring people don't have to be dumb. An XNXP would be ideal.

Oh wait. I thought this was in a partner. Well in that case of what I would personally rather be valued for, well, it's probably leaning towards mind.

I wish to be valued for the way I sit still and do nothing.

We're NTs, it's kinda obvious....

Maybe so but I prefer not to assume since there are so many variables amongst the different NT types.

Definately mind. I think it would be a compliment to be seen as someone having emotional capacity though.

The obvious answer, but "heart" is my close second -- I appreciate getting compliments in that area, because it's the area that was hardest for me and I've worked my ass off to develop it and grow in that way.

Mind and heart. Equally. I want to be seen as a whole person, and I want to be cared for, not just admired.

It's pretty empty to be admired for physical appearance only.

Very magnanimous post, but fails to answer the topic thread.

Is it pretty empty to be valued for heart only?

Is it pretty empty to be valued for mind only?

Anyone can notice that I'm smart

It's someone that gets to know me to see that my hearts in the right place that I appreciate

Mind first.

And heart in the core. You just have to penetrate my mind far enough to get to it.

Read between the lines. If I didn't think it would be empty to be valued only for my mind, wouldn't I have just chosen "mind?"

i tend to think that the essence of an NT's heart lies in what they apply their minds to.

thus when i appreciate their minds i am really appreciating their hearts and vice versa. cold-hearted scheming is impressive but not valued.

so i think mind versus heart is a false dichotomy.

body is just icing on the cake ;)

Then why not just say none of 3 is more important? :cheese:
